Corrugated Metals, Inc. is proud to announce that it was awarded OSHA’s Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP). It became the 35th employer in Illinois to have achieved this prestigious OSHA Cooperative Program.

The program recognizes small business employers who have used OSHA’s On-Site Consultation Program services and operate an exemplary safety and health programs. Acceptance into SHARP from OSHA is an achievement of status that singles out business among peers as a model for worksite safety and health.

Cristin Middlesworth, Production Manager who implemented the program stated, “I am proud of the transformation that has taken place with all of our employees.  The employees worked hard to make our workplace a safety first environment and continue to do so.  Achieving OSHA’s SHARP status is a tremendous achievement.  I am thankful for the support of the IL DOL’s consultation program and the Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center (IMEC).”

The achievement of SHARP recognition demonstrates our employees’ dedication to the task of ensuring that everyone goes home at the end of the day in the same condition in which they arrived. Credit for this achievement goes to our Plant Manager, Cristin Middlesworth and our entire plant staff for their efforts.
